Welcome to Venice Sky Productions, the film and theater production company of writer/producer/director Dale Griffiths Stamos. Theatrical productions include Dialectics of the Heart, in 2006, starring well-known television actors Sharon Lawrence and Nicholas Gonzalez; and two evenings of one acts, co-produced with Maggie Grant of Three Roses Players: Thicker Than Water in 2011 and Love Struck in 2012. Both shows starred the inimitable Barbara Bain (from the original Mission Impossible TV series) along with a stellar Los Angeles cast.

In film, Venice Sky Productions first teamed up with director Maggie Grant's film company, and produced a film adaptation of Dale's short play, Match Made. The film stars Barbara Bain and Robert Miano and was completed in 2013. It has screened in seven film festivals and has won two Audience Favorite awards, and one Best Director and Best Screenplay award.  It also screened in 
the Orange County Film Society's Shorts Showcase.

Venice Sky next teamed up with award-winning theatre and film director Deborah LaVine. Their first film together was Lost Music which Deborah directed and produced, and Dale wrote and associate produced.  Completed in July of 2014, it screened at Cinema at the Edge Independent Film Festival where it won their Jury Award for Short, and subsequently, in 2015, screened at three other film festivals; as well as in the Orange County Film Society's Shorts Showcase.  Dale and Deborah's next film together, produced through their 3-woman production company, VEW (Dale, Deborah and actress Jane Hajduk) was Unintended, starring Jane Hajduk and Jeff Perry from the ABC hit show Scandal.  Completed August 2017, it screened at 3 film festivals and is now available on the Australian platform, FLIXA, which features films by women.

In 2017, Dale donned a third hat - that of director.  She wrote, produced and directed the short film, The Dinner Guest, starring Molly Leland, Julianna Robinson, and Kenny Johnston.  Completed in August 2017, it has screened at 18 festivals.  It has received three jury awards, and 3 nominations for the film, one for the screenplay, and three for the acting. It also received an AWARD OF EXCELLENCE from Best Shorts Competition 2019.

In 2018, Dale wrote, produced and directed Dirty LIttle Secret starring Jane Hajduk and Daniel Hall (of The Young and the Restless).  It has screened at 11 film festivals and received a nomination for Best Director, Best Actress, and Best Actor at Beaufort Internaitonal Film Festival.  It also received an AWARD OF EXCELLENCE from Best Shorts Competition.

In 2018 (completed in 2019), Dale wrote, produced and directed Entwined, starring Michael Dorn ("Worf" in Star Trek), Suzanne Ford, Dennis Renard, Kayla Fields, Steve Howard and Kyle Butenhoff.   Entwined has screened so far at 16 film festivals.  It received the Bill Paxton Award at the Ojai Film Festival and the jury award for Best Short at the Borrego Springs Film Festival. It has also received  an AWARD OF EXCELLENCE from Best Shorts Competition. It received Honorable Mention at the One-Reeler Short Film Competition. 

In 2021, Dale wrote and co-produced Dancing with Shadows which was co-produced and directed by Deborah LaVine.  So far, it has been in four film festivals: LA Shorts International, Ojai Film Festival, New York Shorts International, and Ojai Film Festival.

Venice Sky Productions seeks above all to show the struggles and beauty of the human condition and to touch audiences on an emotional, intellectual, and spiritual level.
